Perfect Perfection 

Nowadays, appearance starts to take over the beauty of inner side as first impression is always important. Obsession of beauty is in everyone. But, what is perfect perfection? There is never a definition of beauty. In order to achieve the so-called perfect perfection, many people choose the extreme way which is plastic surgery. But, it is an activity that causes a lot of patient who gone through this keeps continuing to ask for more. The desire of oneself is being exposed. Slowly by time, it has affected the health and mindset of the society at how we judge and look at the real beauty.

 

Is plastic surgery a good thing or bad thing? There is always an argument in between. Through the space that I propose that link to the social issue of plastic surgery, it aims to explore the journey of the patient who choose to do plastic surgery and why would they do that. Besides, it explores the operation of plastic surgery for the audience who come into the space can have a clearer idea and understanding about plastic surgery.

 

With the brutal and daring design executed in The Arts House, it helps to create awareness to people and remind them to rethink about it. It leaves an open answer and creates the controversial of this issues as no matter it is a good thing or a bad thing, it is up to the audience to decide.

 

n this project, the tension is to show the ugly, uncomfortable process and journey of the patient who gone through plastic surgery and somehow to expose the truth of plastic surgery. But after all, plastic surgery is a common topic that everyone will discuss about.
